Hello readers and fellow bloggers! At the end of July, I was contacted by Sock Club on Instagram to try 1 free month of their sock subscription – no strings attached. Sock Club is a subscription service that delivers American made socks every month.
I love subscription services just as much as I love socks, so I had to check these guys out. When I scrolled through their Instagram (which is @sockclubofficial incase you were wondering), it was love a first stitch. My initial thought was that the socks looked well-made, and modern with an urban aesthetic. So let’s say, it didn’t take me long to claim that free promo code.
Within 1 week, I received a package from Sock Club. Their socks are typically sent out the first week of the month. This is what their packaging looks like…
The Packaging
Another thing you should know about me is that I’m a HUGE packaging nerd. With that being said, the moment I saw Sock Club’s packaging, I was blown away. For someone that loves The Sound of Music, it’s no surprise that brown paper packages are one of my favorite things. Especially, if it’s covered in adorable illustrations and closed with a wax seal – A WAX SEAL! A+ for packaging, Sock Club!
The Socks
In order to avoid ripping the wax seal, I shimmied the socks out of the packaging. Instantly, I was drawn to the brightly colored pair of socks that I was holding in my hand. I’m very keen to geometric shapes and patterns, so I was thrilled to see that August’s sock design consisted of multicolored triangles of different sizes. I couldn’t wait to try on this eye-catching pair of socks.
Once I put on the socks, I was pleased to find how comfortable and high quality the fabric and fit was. As a reference for you, I wear between a 7 and 7 1/2 size shoe, which equates to a women’s small sock. Even though I have small feet, they’re wide. So, I was worried the socks would be too tight, but that wasn’t the case. The fabric is stretchy, soft, and overall, high quality. Sock Club, you have a happy customer over here.
Sock Club Overview
Overall, I am very happy with the socks that Sock Club sent me. The sock design and packaging was on point! I want to thank Sock Club for giving me the opportunity to try out their sock subscription. I will definitely purchase from then in the future.
If you are interested in becoming a member of Sock Club, you can visit their website at sockclub.com for more information. Subscriptions start at $12/month (shipping and handling included). Other subscriptions such as 3, 6, and 12 months are available as well. Additionally, you can customize your own sock designs with Sock Club Custom. How awesome is that?!
In the comments below, please let me know if you’ve tried Sock Club before and what your thoughts are. I hope to see you in my next blog post!

August 14, 2016 at 10:42 amYeah, being able to customize your own socks is a great feature Sock Club offers. I haven’t tried it, but it seems like it would be cool collateral for branding. I still can’t get over the bright colors and packaging. Sock Club did a great job! 🙂

August 12, 2016 at 11:50 amI’m slightly addicted to subscription services. (I hate shoppibg, and these kinds of services make it unnecessary.) Didn’t know about Sock Club, but I might have to try it out!
